weds 1st oct
slept in as long as poss lol got mum worried about us missing the train
20 minutes and i was ready for off :P oo exciting! :D gutted i had to bring a bag with me : ( suppose i need it for six days. so far ive spent £6 to picadilly, £7 to euston, and £25 for a 7 day oyster card, that's about £4 per day! free hotel for two days, thanks mum :P £30 travelodge for friday, free bed at the house de l'aphids saturday and sunday :D cant believe the train journey is only just over 2 hours between manchester and euston :D awesome new music on my mp3 player :D demians ayreon battleore and juno reactor :D everythnig to plan. no street entertainers in covent garden though : ( but cheap lunch :D 2 cornish pasties and a sausage oll in the rain and tea and a cookie thanks mum :D didnt expect to be seeing the longon eye and big ben so soon! the underground is ace! :D been travelling for 6 hours, rest! :D
ill have to try my best not to frighten the einaudi barbican staff in my leather jacket again. someone may recognise me from last year
already been all over london, seen the eye and i'm bigger than big ben! sexy women everywhere!!
einaudi was ACE!! great venue! sexy ladies. dream gig. close to the hotel and the italien! :D massive steak! :D yum lovely lil restaurant : ) no booze or bananas required! :O comfy seats I nearly fell asleep. last train 12.30 hotel nexto a strip club! :O mm hot chocolate and weetabix :D
going to see dinosaurs!!!
two random black dudes (one in covent garden, one in the barbican) were dead friendly to me. one respected my height, the other respected opeth! :D also an einaudi fan then! :D good stuff!
girl fell down the stairs! :O we went out the wrong exit but found milk!
track list mum? kioret de la not, monday, rit an aire, uno, igiorni, sorry about the spelling lol im not an expert and cant be arsed looking the song names up!
mum really is a big fan though!
it wass totally different to a rock gig, everyone was sat down and it was so quiet, a bit annoying at tiimes coz people cough but cant help it. quid smoking! clapping every half an hour or so was so loud! atmosphere. thrilling, buzzing! subtle moody stage colours, andere, good modern technology for the acoustics, impressive building.
such a contrast to the royal albert hall. even the philamonic is boring in comparison! mmmm malt horlichs reminds me of grandmas sleepover! with crackers! and countdown! happy! : )
hopefully mum can improve by unconsciously copying einaudis style. expression.
unbelievable how he memorizes all of the songs!
saying that though lang lang can memorise much more complex pieces as can stephen hough.
probably a high percentage of the audience can play some of his pieces. pure relaxation, chillout. great at this time with money problems in the world.
thurs 2nd oct
woah information overload! didnt recognise chantel! so tall! she probably thought the same about me lol
saw roly for a few seconds but she had to shoot off (
elaine was so nice! ted was so informative and helpful!
natural history t rex was almost real!
earthquake simulator, not quite as violent as i remember 10 years ago

ted recommended signing up with virgin/singapore airlines etc, dress in a polo shirt and jeanns on the plane, drink 3 glasses of champagne really fast after eating and fall asleep. can skype ted and email all of the bathers :D
ted uses western digital for external hard drives
wasnt too loud in the hotel, very comfortable even though i was on the floor
weetabix and tea mmm
i spent a total of £3 on thursday! thanks to mum and ted :D
fri 3rd oct

BYE MUM! : ) Quite easily met up with Pete in Canary Wharf. Sushi for lunch, very pleasannt! And coffee! Thanks Pete! :D He recommended Greenwich so I went : ) Time museum, maritime, astrology telescope thingie. I randomly found Fergus Noone's gallery/shop! :O :D Was very nice to meet him and Siobhan :D Hopefully she is going to email me advice about my travels :D Hugged her : ) Took me a while to fnid my Travelodge coz Googlemaps postcode was slightly out ; /
A couple of random cops I got chatting to in the chicken take away while I was asking around for the Farringdon Travelodge recommended a job for me in Sydney!! :O :D
The printers union printers aassistant. Good pay apparently!
It was strange and almost totally embarrassing how the receptionist gave me a key to a room with people in it! : O lol eeep! I fumped my bag and headed to find the Astoria. that took a good while! lol the queue was tso long! unfortunately I missed the first song of Turisas : ( They were good butu only did one song I love. : ( I don understand why hey milked "f*ck the guitar solos" when they were supporting DragonForce! As expected I didnt like DragonForce so I left early, hadd some chips and failed to find the Cro Bar or the Intripid Fox : ( Waxy O Connors Irish Bar was ace though! : D
Waxys is huge! sprawling maze of cave rooms, posh though! VERY busy! fratellis, Chilis, Fallout Boy, Reef!...
Thanks to me being unable to find the clubs, I found myself in Leicester Square underground watching and old jigging saxophone player jaxxing up some popular tunes LD pink panther, Hey Baby, Three blind mice, Beverley Hills Cop, amster Song... and just a recorded unstoppable laugh to finish off as he packed away : D
Thanks to the old sax bloke I got chatting to a VERY pretty young lady :D She also couldnt take her eyes off him or wipe the smile off her face lol
It was so nice to see so many people smiling and dancing. I took pictures, and recorded videos for people, helped with directions, constantly smiling :D
This was the night I got so unbelievably lost trying to find my Travelodge, I mustve walked about an hour in the wrong direction! and no buses were going in the right direction so I had to walk all the way back lol, silly drunk muppet shouldve checked my compass sooner!
Its a good job im tall coz people tended to cross the road rather than walking past me in the rough area of London at 1 in the morning!
Sat 4th oct
Wow! What a day!! Woke up in my Travelodge with only 20 minutes to watch and eat my chocolate Shreddies
. tubes to and from camden cancelled due to engineering works on the line : ( used buses instead. wandered around camden market a few times. its massive! nearly bought an egyptian god papyrus scroll.
eventually found dave (dchampx) and jon :D sound best mates. really nice company. again, strange to meet up with someone from the past off xbox live!
camden market is fcking HUGE! we saw what must've been one of the biggest curry wok's in the world! unfortunatly i didnt make it to camden for a night out as i was busy getting lost around kings cross but the oxford arms served us well on saturday afternoon! : )
curry. football. bowling. daves cousin bangkok! :D shes lovely and pretty : )
to brixton! i get there just in time and luckily bump into the chirpyaphids at a cash machein :D quick ciders in the queue
it was a shame the gig wasnt as good as expected : ( shinedown were a let down and disturbed were ace but the sniger really struggled to hold/hit his powerful notes in most songs : ( i was a bit tired too.
changed the memory card and battery for my camera just in time in the break between the bands. ok photos. chirpy sarah and pete got so drunk! tequila and gin galore! i was in such a rush to get my jacket and pete took ages in nandos (he walked straight past the doorman who was tellling him nandos was closed lol then he had to wait for them to cook him his chips) leaving us just a few minutes to catch the last train. i even gave sarah a leg up over nandos wall so she could nag him to get a move on lol. we legged it! then at train change i needed a ticket to lingfield but got away without :D :P
and i held the train up for the chirpies lol so much fun hahah
sarah and petes drunken fighting, arguing and spanking on the train. very funny. peter drunk drove home!
