fri night casis was closed for refurbishment so i went to manchesters grand central instead
met up with bish jon and adam :D
after some chatting, a drunk guy and a close game of winner stays on pool we eventually got to play each other lol

train to jons
chippy nice sloppy chips n sausage thanks to the gravy :) and a lil public rant about chip butties from jon :D
wii time and i was the noob for mario party 8
board bit i found boring (even if it is a little bit strategic)
mini games were good although theres new controls and objectives for every minigame so it's very hard for a newbie against 3 semi-pros :P
a couple of spongebobs later and i get some kip on the great blob of cussions :D
woke up a bit earlier than the others and played some resident evil which i thought was shit
we all played some mario party mini games (without the waste of time rolling dice crap) :D
then headed off to arndale for window shopping, computer gaming and an expensive
but very tasty subway
said my goodbyes and headed back for warrington
met up with gem n wez for 2 pints, a burger and chips and a good natter
then phill found me in warrington central station and we headed off to liverpool for ash
a good chat with phill on the longer than expected train to liverpool
we just about got there in time for the dead sixties i think they were called
they were pretty good
nowhere near as good as ASH though :D
they have some fairly average songs but some great live ROCK tunes
venue was a bit hot but thankfully i managed to smuggle in my water bottle
good venue for photos :D (good lighting)
good sound system too :D
i think 3 man bands work very well together
each member seems to have a greater importance and so the songs seem better i think than some overcrowded bands
the bassist especially has a great stage presence
