left work at 2.15, cheers boss liz said she had a loada vip tickets i could give to my mates. i told one mate and the word soon spread! liz didnt contact me though and i couldnt get through to her as she'd forgotten her phone!! : ( no vip tickets for us : ( boohoo free trains though :D bussed it to and from the stadium from picadilly : ) nice n easy and only £1 per direction! i really didnt expect to be on my own for this gig but i liked it! just spoke to random people :D the futureheads had about 3 or 4 pretty good songs as did the manics : / i wouldve thought theyd played their greatest hits! i woudlve prefferred eagles of death metal, qotsa or the stone temple pilots, feeder, hoobastank, i could go on! more grungy heavier rock than indie futureheads and old manics! the foos didnt play any of my requests : ( Let it Die, Come Back, Walkin a Line, Goodbye Lament, Razor, and The One! I still love Stacked Actors, glad they still do that. Always extended into a metal tune too I was actually getting a bit bored of some songs as I've heard them live so much! Wish they'd play different ones! My hero was acoustic again. I love that electric too! At the start of the gig everyone was packed at the front! was annoying being so close to so many bloked :( after a few songs it eased off though :D taz keith n ste stayed towards the back for the manics according to her text. nobody found me though! wtf! i'm massive! ads and carl manalishi, phill, renae, laura! a bit annoying but hey i still had a good time! i dont think i got covered in too much piss, if any! bumped into Jonny Raw at the end :D had to leg it to catch a bus tho so the convo was short n sweet : ) the foos are still one of the best live bands 7th time I've seen them!
