	just got back home from preston, scoffed down my fish fingers and chips then headed out again, this time to manchester : ) another free train :D :P - pretended i was asleep when the ticket man came :P the ticket machines are working in oxford road station now so i get off at deansgate instead :P i got off the train at 7.30 ish, quite a long walk from deansgate to the academy as I got there at 8, just in time for the first band although i missed a song or two as i was saying hi to matt, and co downstairs : ) gave em my photos : ) the first band were pretty good actually not my usual thing but pretty similar to the Whip. they were an electro dance guitar band sorta thing with a cello and electronic drum kit : ) nice lighting steve, lynn, dave, john, laura, jon and sue arrived : ) i had a word the with lighting man for optional wallace, and he sorted it! :D got some pretty good photos thanks to it : ) also the crowd loved them and the whole atmosphere was great :D band number 3 were indie and my mates headed downstairs so i joined em played a couple of games of pool with my bosses son - John, beat him : P played a game with my boss, beat him! :D :P a good experience :D played a game with big jon, i wouldve beaten him if i didnt accidentally pot the black! headed to dannys house party with matt and his gf. twas very loud and distorted unfortunately some nice girls but the nice ones had boyfriends : ( i soon got bored and headed to chris' with a tandori chicken and chips with hot sauce :D tasty! i crashed on his floor, very uncomfortable but hey! what can ya do! you only risk regretting what you don't do!
