Usually, my fire shows will presented it 20-25 minuets slots. In this time I
will perform each of my styles to a high level of skill that will
capture attention throughout.
My act, performance and timings can be tailored to suit any event.
My act is suitable for an eye-catching stage centrepiece or full fire and
light stage show.
I also perform walkabout shows adding an exciting eye-catching ambient touch
to any show, festival, event or nightclub.
My favourite style to perform is Fire Poi. These are a pair of Kevlar fire
heads attached to chains, spun around the body to draw beautiful arcs of
light. I usually use monkey fist fire poi. I also perform Fire Rope poi
which create long blades of flame and simply look spectacular.
I am confident with fire staff. This is a purpose made pole with Kevlar fire
heads attached at either end. Using the staff I can create large up to 15
feet fire balls at the start of the spin. Very eye-catching with a serious
wow factor. With two large spinning fire heads, skilled spinning and contact
tricks, the fire staff is often a crowd favourite.
I have found nunchucks and double nunchucks a lot of fun to spin. People are
always impressed to see this martial arts form done well, and with my added
twist of adding fire into the equation, this art form makes for a stunning
show.
I am confidant and keen to perform with my variety of equipment including;
Fire poi (and fire ropes)
Fire Staff (+double fire staff)
Fire nunchucks (+double fire nunchucks)
I am also confident in liquid / popping dance with the added incorporation of
contact juggling or Zippo lighter manipulation in the dance.
